Athens - Clinging to hope

Plaka surrounds. Last day in Athens, September 2003.
On my last day in Greece, I wanted to avoid paying for anything unless I have not been there - this included the Acropolis. Fortunately, there were a few places in the Plaka that were worth seeing. The outskirts of the Plaka district, at the foot of the Acropolis, was one of them - here, it looks like I've stepped back in Mykonos!
